The last competitive strike/kick of a ball had been in the first week of October and thankfully after a long long winter, competitive action resumed in Ballinora in June.
At Adult level there was a great start in June for our Intermediate footballers and Junior A&B hurlers in the league. In the juvenile section, the gradings changed this year to align with the intercounty setup. The minor grade moved from U18 to U17 and the “on age” years changes to U17, U15, U13.
It was a feast of hurling and football in Ballinora in June, at all ages and there’s so much more to look forward to in July. Highlights to look forward to in July include the U15 championship running through the month. The U17 championship started well in June but is currently on hold until August. The U12, U13, U14/15C and U18 Leagues will continue throughout July. At Adult level in football the County League Cup continues throughout July as do the Muskerry hurling leagues.
Its great to be back!
